With the BMW that’s being sold on ebay and Bertha, it’s starting to look like a used car lot outside the office. Thought we might see if we could get our Head of Digital (HoD) a good price for Bertha and tucked this sign under the windscreen wipers. HoD wouldn’t tell us if he’d got any good offers from the good people of Yeadon.

On the edge of the industrial estate near our office, lorries often park up over night. It didn’t go unnoticed that a lot of these have some sort of bedraggled, fly covered mascot attached to the front grill. Not wanting Bertha to go without, a furry little friend was soon found. We hope it brings her lots of luck and safe journeys.

Public spirited gesture

Poor Bertha seems to have gained an unsightly lean to one side. Head of Digital (and owner of aforementioned VW camper van) insists this is just the camber of the car park. In an act of benevolence, one of his publicly spirited colleagues has created a Police Aware notice so that the ever zealous Yeadon Police aren’t innundated by calls from our neighbours reporting what seems to be an abandoned vehicle.
